Monopoly breaker Mai TV today announced that it would stream the Vodafone Fiji FACT to worldwide audience, for the first time offering Fiji Football Association a global audience for its own tournament.
In making the announcement CEO Richard Broadbridge said Mai TV and Fiji FA had signed an accord, which allows Mai TV to sell all Fiji FACT matches online opening the tournament to the world and not just the Pacific.
“Our technology is ready and well tested. If you have an internet connection you can subscribe. It’s that simple”, Broadbridge said
Mai TV says its technology does not need a set top box or decoder and is designed for viewers with a minimum of 512kbps of speed. Fiji Internet Service Providers have been encouraged to drop their rates to get more people in Fiji watching the event.
“Whether you live in Canada, Australia or Afganistan, if you have an Internet connection and a credit card you will see Fiji FACT soccer.
Mai TV’s Internet Pay Per View package costs USD$19.95 per customer.
